Sequoia National Park, located in the southern Sierra Nevada mountains of California, is renowned for its towering giant sequoia trees, including the General Sherman Tree, which is the largest tree on Earth by volume. The park, established in 1890, spans over 400,000 acres and features diverse landscapes ranging from lowland foothills to the high alpine peaks of the Great Western Divide. Visitors can explore a variety of natural wonders such as the Giant Forest, which houses five of the ten largest trees in the world, and the picturesque Moro Rock, offering stunning panoramic views.
