Sierra Nevada National Park in Venezuela is a stunning expanse of natural beauty located in the Andean region of the country. Established in 1952, it is one of Venezuela's oldest national parks and covers an area of approximately 2,765 square kilometers. The park is renowned for its dramatic mountain landscapes, including the country's highest peak, Pico Bolívar, which rises to an elevation of 4,978 meters. Visitors to Sierra Nevada National Park can experience a diverse range of ecosystems, from tropical rainforests at lower elevations to alpine tundra and glaciers at higher altitudes.
