St. Michael's Golden-Domed Monastery is a prominent and historic monastery located in Kyiv, Ukraine. Originally built in the 12th century by Prince Sviatopolk II Iziaslavych, it was dedicated to the Archangel Michael, the patron saint of Kyiv. The monastery complex is renowned for its striking golden domes, Baroque architecture, and stunning mosaics and frescoes. Despite being demolished by Soviet authorities in the 1930s, it was meticulously rebuilt in the 1990s following Ukraine's independence.
