Stan Hywet Hall and Gardens, located in Akron, Ohio, is a historic estate and museum that offers a glimpse into the opulent lifestyle of the early 20th century. Built between 1912 and 1915, this magnificent 65-room Tudor Revival manor was the home of F.A. Seiberling, co-founder of the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. The name "Stan Hywet" is derived from Old English, meaning "stone quarry," a nod to the property's original sandstone quarry. The estate spans over 70 acres and features meticulously landscaped gardens, a conservatory, a carriage house, and a gate lodge. Today, it serves as a cultural and educational resource, hosting various tours, events, and programs throughout the year.
