The Sudwala Caves, located in Mpumalanga, South Africa, are some of the oldest known caves in the world, estimated to be around 240 million years old. These limestone caves are renowned for their impressive stalactites and stalagmites, as well as their vast chambers and fascinating rock formations. Visitors can explore the main chamber, known as the PR Owen Hall, which is large enough to host concerts and other events. The caves also have a rich history, having been used by early humans and later as a refuge by the Swazi people during tribal conflicts.
