Suicide Cliff in Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands, is a historical and poignant landmark located at the northern end of the island. The cliff holds significant historical importance as it was the site where many Japanese civilians and soldiers tragically leapt to their deaths during the Battle of Saipan in World War II, preferring death over the perceived dishonor of surrender.
