About
Takakkaw Falls is one of the tallest and most spectacular waterfalls in Canada, located in Yoho National Park in British Columbia. The name "Takakkaw" is derived from the Cree word for "magnificent," which aptly describes the awe-inspiring sight of water plunging 373 meters (1,224 feet) from the Daly Glacier into the Yoho River. Surrounded by rugged cliffs and lush forests, the falls are accessible via a scenic drive along the Yoho Valley Road, followed by a short, well-maintained trail.
