Tempio Malatestiano, also known as the Malatesta Temple, is a striking example of Renaissance architecture located in Rimini, Italy. Originally a Gothic church dedicated to St. Francis, it was transformed in the 15th century by the local ruler Sigismondo Pandolfo Malatesta into a grand mausoleum for himself and his family. The renowned architect Leon Battista Alberti was commissioned to redesign the building, and his work resulted in a harmonious blend of classical and Christian elements. The interior is adorned with exquisite artworks, including frescoes by Piero della Francesca and sculptures by Agostino di Duccio.
