The Big Fish, also known as the Salmon of Knowledge, is a prominent public art installation located along the banks of the River Lagan in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Created by artist John Kindness in 1999, the sculpture is made up of ceramic tiles that depict scenes from Belfast's history, ranging from its industrial heritage to its folklore and culture. Measuring about 10 meters (32 feet) in length, The Big Fish has become an iconic landmark and a popular spot for both locals and tourists.
