The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore

The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, located in Druid Hill Park, is one of the oldest zoos in the United States, having been established in 1876. It spans over 135 acres and is home to more than 1,500 animals representing nearly 200 species. The zoo is dedicated to wildlife conservation and education, offering visitors a chance to explore various themed exhibits such as the African Journey, the Maryland Wilderness, and the Polar Bear Watch.
