Ticlio, also known as Abra Anticona, is a high mountain pass in the Andes of Peru. It is situated at an elevation of approximately 4,818 meters (15,807 feet) above sea level, making it one of the highest railway crossings in the world. Located between the regions of Lima and Junín, Ticlio lies on the route of the Central Railway of Peru, which connects the capital city of Lima with the central highlands. The area is known for its dramatic landscapes, including snow-capped peaks and rugged terrain.
