Tintagel Castle in Tintagel, United Kingdom, is a historic site steeped in legend and myth, particularly associated with the tales of King Arthur. Perched dramatically on the rugged cliffs of Cornwall, the castle offers breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean. The site includes the remnants of a medieval fortification built by Richard, Earl of Cornwall, in the 13th century, as well as earlier Dark Age settlements.
