The Tomb of Ferdowsi, located in Tus, Iran, is a significant cultural and historical monument dedicated to the renowned Persian poet Ferdowsi, the author of the epic "Shahnameh" (The Book of Kings). The tomb was built in the early 20th century, designed by the prominent Iranian architect, Karim Taherzadeh Behzad. Its design is inspired by Achaemenid architecture, particularly the tomb of Cyrus the Great. The tomb features a large white marble structure adorned with intricate reliefs and inscriptions from Ferdowsi's works. Surrounded by a beautifully maintained garden, the site also includes a museum that showcases manuscripts, artifacts, and exhibits related to Ferdowsi's life and the Shahnameh.
