The Tongariro Alpine Crossing is a renowned hiking trail located in Tongariro National Park on the North Island of New Zealand. This 19.4-kilometer trek is celebrated for its striking volcanic landscapes, including the active volcanoes Mount Tongariro and Mount Ngauruhoe.
