Toyouke Daijingū, also known as the Outer Shrine of Ise Grand Shrine, is dedicated to Toyouke-Ōmikami, the deity of agriculture, rice harvest, and industry. Located in Ise, Mie Prefecture, Japan, it serves as a vital complement to the Inner Shrine, which is dedicated to Amaterasu-Ōmikami, the sun goddess. The Outer Shrine was established approximately 1,500 years ago to provide food offerings to Amaterasu and to serve as a guardian of sustenance and daily life.
