Túcume is an archaeological site located in the Lambayeque region of northern Peru. It is renowned for its impressive complex of 26 adobe pyramids, which were constructed by the Lambayeque culture around 1000 AD. The site, also known as the Valley of the Pyramids, covers an area of approximately 220 hectares and includes notable structures such as the Huaca Larga, one of the longest adobe structures in the world. Túcume later became an important center for the Chimú and Inca civilizations.
