Tybee Island Light is a historic lighthouse located on the northeastern tip of Tybee Island, Georgia, USA. Established in 1736, it is one of the oldest lighthouses in the United States. The current structure, which dates back to 1916 after several reconstructions, stands at 145 feet tall and features a distinctive black and white striped pattern. The lighthouse is equipped with a First Order Fresnel lens, which aids in guiding ships safely through the Savannah River entrance.
