Tykocin Castle, located in the town of Tykocin in northeastern Poland, is a historic fortress with roots dating back to the 15th century. Originally built by the Masovian Duke Janusz I, it was later transformed into a Renaissance-style residence by King Sigismund Augustus in the 16th century. The castle played a significant role in Polish history, serving as a royal residence and a strategic military stronghold.
