Tyresta National Park

Tyresta National Park, located near Handen in Sweden, is a pristine natural area known for its ancient forests and rich biodiversity. Established in 1993, the park covers approximately 20 square kilometers and features over 8,000-year-old primeval forest, one of the largest in southern Sweden. Visitors can explore a network of well-marked trails, including the popular Sörmlandsleden and Tyresta By, a charming village that serves as the park's main entrance. The park is home to diverse wildlife, including moose, deer, and over 80 species of birds.
