Udawalawe Elephant Transit Home in Sri Lanka is a sanctuary dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of orphaned elephant calves. Located near Udawalawe National Park, the facility provides a safe environment where young elephants can grow and develop the skills needed to survive in the wild. The ultimate goal of the transit home is to reintroduce these elephants back into their natural habitats.
