The Vidovdan Heroes Chapel, located in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a significant historical and cultural monument. It commemorates the Serbian national heroes who were involved in the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria on June 28, 1914, an event that sparked the onset of World War I. The chapel is named after Vidovdan, a Serbian national and religious holiday that falls on the same date.
