Vogel State Park is one of Georgia's oldest and most popular state parks, located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest. Established in 1931, the park offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, fishing, swimming, and camping. The scenic 22-acre Lake Trahlyta is a central feature, providing opportunities for boating and paddleboarding. The park is also known for its beautiful fall foliage, making it a popular destination during the autumn months.
