Voroneț Monastery, located in Gura Humorului, Romania, is a renowned medieval monastery that dates back to 1488. It is famous for its exterior frescoes, particularly the vibrant "Last Judgment" painted on the western wall, which have earned it the nickname "Sistine Chapel of the East." The monastery was founded by Stephen the Great, a prominent Moldavian ruler, and is notable for its stunning blue frescoes, often referred to as "Voroneț blue," which have remarkably withstood the test of time.
