Wat Plai Laem is a stunning Buddhist temple complex located on the island of Ko Samui in Thailand. The temple features a striking blend of traditional and contemporary Thai architectural styles. One of its most notable attractions is the 18-armed statue of Guanyin, the Goddess of Mercy and Compassion, which sits serenely on a lake filled with fish that visitors can feed. Additionally, the temple is home to an impressive white statue of Buddha and several intricately decorated buildings and statues that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the region.
