Waza National Park, located in the Far North Region of Cameroon, is one of the country's most important protected areas. Covering approximately 1,700 square kilometers, the park was established in 1934 and later designated a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve. It boasts a diverse array of wildlife, including elephants, lions, giraffes, and various species of antelopes and birds. The park's landscape is a mix of savannah, floodplains, and seasonal wetlands, providing a rich habitat for its inhabitants.
