Weltenburg Abbey in Kelheim, Germany, is a Benedictine monastery with a history dating back to around 620 AD, making it one of the oldest monasteries in Bavaria. Located on a picturesque bend of the Danube River, the abbey is renowned for its stunning baroque church, designed by the Asam brothers in the early 18th century. Visitors are also drawn to the abbey's brewery, which is believed to be the oldest monastic brewery in the world, producing beer since 1050.
