The White City in Tel Aviv, Israel, is a renowned collection of over 4,000 Bauhaus or International Style buildings constructed in the 1930s by German-Jewish architects who fled the rise of the Nazis. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2003, this area is celebrated for its modernist architecture characterized by functionality, simplicity, and a lack of ornamentation. The buildings are designed to adapt to the Mediterranean climate, featuring elements like white façades, flat roofs, and narrow windows.
