Whitewater Falls is a stunning series of cascades located in the Pisgah National Forest of North Carolina, USA. Known for its sheer height and scenic beauty, Whitewater Falls is the highest waterfall east of the Rockies, with a total drop of over 800 feet. The falls are divided into two sections: the Upper Falls, which plummet 411 feet, and the Lower Falls, which descend 400 feet. The area surrounding the falls offers well-maintained trails and observation platforms, providing breathtaking views of the cascading water and the lush, forested landscape.
