Xanten Cathedral, also known as St. Victor's Cathedral, is a prominent Gothic church located in Xanten, Germany. It is one of the largest cathedrals in the Lower Rhine region and is dedicated to St. Victor of Xanten, a Roman soldier who was martyred for his Christian faith. Construction of the cathedral began in the 12th century and continued over several centuries, resulting in a stunning blend of architectural styles. The cathedral features impressive stained glass windows, intricate stone carvings, and a significant collection of medieval art and artifacts.
