Ysleta Mission, located in El Paso, Texas, is a historic Spanish mission established in 1680. It is recognized as the oldest continuously operating parish in the state of Texas and has played a significant role in the region's cultural and religious history. The mission was originally founded by Spanish missionaries and Tigua (Tiwa) Native Americans who fled from the Pueblo Revolt in New Mexico. Over the centuries, the building has undergone various restorations and renovations but continues to serve as a place of worship and community gathering.
