The Zuiderzee Museum in Enkhuizen, Netherlands, is a cultural and historical museum dedicated to preserving and showcasing the maritime heritage and everyday life of communities around the former Zuiderzee, now known as the IJsselmeer. The museum features both an indoor and an extensive outdoor section. The indoor museum displays artifacts, art, and exhibits that tell the story of the region's history, culture, and its transformation after the construction of the Afsluitdijk which turned the Zuiderzee into a freshwater lake.
