Best time to visit Butare:

Dry Season (June to September and December to February): These months are considered the best time to visit Rwanda. The weather is generally dry, and it's an excellent time for gorilla trekking in Volcanoes National Park and other outdoor activities. Wildlife viewing is also fantastic during this time in the various national parks.

Rainy Season (March to May and October to November): The rainy seasons can be wet, with heavy rainfall, making trekking and hiking more challenging due to muddy trails. However, the landscape is lush and green, and it's a good time for bird watching and seeing baby gorillas.
