May to November (Green Season/Low Season): The wet season in Belize brings occasional rain showers and higher humidity, but it's also the "green season" when the landscape is lush and vibrant. This is a great time to visit if you're on a budget, as accommodation prices are lower, and crowds are smaller. However, be prepared for some rain, especially in the afternoons.

June to November (Hurricane Season): Belize is located in the hurricane-prone region, and the peak of the hurricane season is from August to October. While Belize doesn't experience hurricanes as frequently as some other Caribbean destinations, there's still a risk. Traveling during this period requires careful monitoring of weather updates.

Late November (Transitional Month): Late November can be a good time to visit as it marks the transition between the wet and dry seasons. The weather is becoming more favorable, and you might catch the tail end of lower prices before the peak season begins.
