Central Tanzania

Dry Season (June to October): This period is characterized by dry and cooler weather, making it one of the best times to visit Central Tanzania. Days are generally sunny with minimal rainfall, and wildlife viewing in parks like Ruaha National Park and Gombe Stream National Park is excellent during this time.

Short Rainy Season (November to December): This period experiences short rains, which are typically less intense compared to the main rainy season. While these rains might occur sporadically, they don't usually disrupt travel plans significantly. It's a transitional period between the dry and wet seasons.

Long Rainy Season (March to May): This is the main rainy season in Central Tanzania. Rainfall can be heavy and continuous, leading to wet conditions and occasional travel disruptions. The landscapes become lush and green, but some roads might become impassable.
