Summer (June to September): Summers are the primary tourist season in Ladakh. Daytime temperatures range between 20-30°C (68-86°F) in lower regions like Leh, but nights can get chilly. This period offers pleasant weather and accessibility to various areas.

Monsoon (July to September): Ladakh experiences minimal rainfall, being in a rain shadow area. Precipitation is scarce, and the region remains dry during these months. It's an excellent time for trekking and exploring, with clear skies and stunning landscapes.

Autumn (October to November): Post-summer, Ladakh experiences cooler temperatures. Days are mild, ranging from 10-20°C (50-68°F), and nights become considerably colder, especially in high-altitude areas. The landscapes showcase vibrant hues.

Winter (December to February): Winters in Ladakh are harsh and extremely cold. Daytime temperatures can plummet below freezing, often ranging from -5 to 5°C (23-41°F), while nights are frigid, dropping well below zero. Many areas become inaccessible due to heavy snowfall.
