Northeast Tanzania

Dry Season (June to October): Northeast Tanzania experiences its dry season during these months. The weather is generally dry, with cooler temperatures, making it an excellent time to visit. This period is optimal for wildlife safaris in places like Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater, and Tarangire National Park. It's also a great time for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Short Rainy Season (November to December): This period brings short rains, which are usually less intense compared to the main rainy season. Travel is still feasible during these months, and it's a transitional period between the dry and wet seasons.

Long Rainy Season (March to May): The main rainy season occurs during these months. Rainfall can be heavy and continuous, leading to lush green landscapes but also making some areas inaccessible due to muddy roads. Wildlife viewing might be more challenging during this time.
