Đerdap National Park, located in the region of Novi Sip, Serbia, is a stunning natural reserve that encompasses a significant portion of the Serbian side of the Iron Gates, a gorge on the River Danube. Established in 1974, the park covers an area of approximately 640 square kilometers. It is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes which include steep cliffs, dense forests, and the majestic flow of the Danube River. The park is also rich in historical and cultural heritage, featuring numerous archaeological sites such as the ancient Roman fortresses and the Golubac Fortress.
