Short Rainy Season (November to December): The region experiences short rains during these months. These rains are usually less intense compared to the main rainy season and might occur sporadically. It's a transitional period between the dry and wet seasons.

Long Rainy Season (March to May): The main rainy season occurs during these months. The rainfall can be heavy and continuous, leading to muddy roads and travel disruptions. However, it's a time when the landscapes become lush and green, and it's an excellent time for birdwatching.
