Takashima Castle, located in Suwa, Nagano Prefecture, Japan, is a historical site with a rich heritage dating back to the early Edo period. Constructed in 1598 by Hineno Takayoshi, the castle is renowned for its strategic placement on the shores of Lake Suwa, earning it the nickname "The Floating Castle" due to its picturesque reflection on the water.
