Chorten Kora is a prominent stupa located in Trashiyangtse, Bhutan. Built in the 18th century by Lama Ngawang Loday, it was modeled after the famous Boudhanath stupa in Nepal. The stupa serves as a significant religious site for the local community and attracts pilgrims from Bhutan and the neighboring Indian state of Arunachal Pradesh. Chorten Kora is particularly renowned for its annual festival, known as the Kora Festival or Dakpa Kora, during which devotees circumambulate the stupa as an act of veneration.
