The Troyan Monastery, located in Troyan Municipality, Bulgaria, is one of the largest and most significant monasteries in the country. Founded in the late 16th century, it is dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin Mary. The monastery is renowned for its beautiful frescoes and wood-carved iconostasis, created by some of the most notable Bulgarian artists of the National Revival period. It also houses a miraculous icon of the Virgin Mary, which attracts many pilgrims.
