Takht-e Soleymān, located in West Azerbaijan Province, Iran, is one of the most significant archaeological sites in the country. It is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site and holds immense historical and cultural importance. The site encompasses the ruins of a Zoroastrian fire temple, a Sasanian palace, and a fortress, all dating back to the Sasanian era (224-651 AD). The central feature is a large, artesian spring-fed lake, believed to have spiritual significance. Takht-e Soleymān is also associated with various legends, including those related to King Solomon, giving the site its name, which translates to "Throne of Solomon.
